At the heart of Riad Fès Baraka, a small traditional hammam and a massage room offer a relaxing pause after exploring the medina. Heated through the floor and walls, the hammam is fitted with zellige benches. The ritual includes the application of eucalyptus black soap, exfoliation with a Kessa glove and a rose-scented ghassoul treatment.
The warmth of the hammam
The heat prepares the skin for exfoliation and helps release tension after a day of walking through the medina.
The traditional treatment
The 45-minute individual treatment is carried out by a professional practitioner. After applying eucalyptus black soap, she performs the exfoliation with a Kessa glove and then applies rose-scented ghassoul.
Price: 250 MAD (approximately €25) per person.
The Duo treatment
For 45 minutes, the two participants care for one another at their own pace. Products, accessories and instructions are provided.
Price: 400 MAD (approximately €40) for two people.
The massage
In a room separate from the hammam, the relaxing essential-oil massage lasts 45 minutes.
Price: 300 MAD (approximately €30) per person.
The facial treatment
A facial treatment is also available in the wellness area.
