Located in Batha, at the gateway to the Fez medina, Riad Fès Baraka has six rooms and suites set around a patio with an outdoor pool large enough for swimming. In this intimate guesthouse, the peaceful setting and traditional hammam offer a welcome pause after a day exploring the medina.
Hospitality here has the warmth of a private home: simple, attentive and discreet.
Bab Boujloud, the Batha Museum and the Bou Inania Madrasa are all within a ten-minute walk.
At the heart of the patio, the 8 × 4 metre pool offers ample space for a proper swim. It is open from 9.30 am to 9.30 pm, hours chosen with the peace of nearby rooms in mind.
A small traditional hammam has been renovated for black soap exfoliation and ghassoul treatments. A separate room is dedicated to massages.
Upstairs, potted flowers and greenery bring the terrace to life, creating a place to read, sunbathe or simply do nothing.
Cars and taxis can reach the end of the lane. Public parking spaces are available about 200 metres from the riad.
Each room has its own character, colours and furnishings. Depending on the category, the rooms and suites accommodate two to four guests.
A Moroccan breakfast is prepared at the riad each morning and included with your stay. For dinner, Samira cooks traditional dishes using fresh produce from the market.
Samir and Touria can arrange tours of the medina with official guides, as well as day trips.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the riad.
