Q: Is the Riad directly accessible by car or taxi?

A: Yes. Riad Fès Baraka is ideally located on the immediate outskirts of the medina (Batha district). Unlike establishments located in the heart of the labyrinthine pedestrian alleyways, you can arrive by taxi or private vehicle right at the end of the alley, just a few meters from our entrance.

Q: Where can we park our vehicle nearby?

A: Several 24-hour monitored public parking lots are located within a 3-minute walk of the Riad, particularly near Batha Square. Samir, our manager, can also contact you upon arrival to guide you and assist you with your luggage from your parking spot.

2. Restaurant & Table d'Hôtes

Q: Do you offer an on-site evening catering service?

A: Yes. Our guest table is open in the evening by prior reservation. Our chef Samira prepares generous and fragrant traditional Moroccan family cuisine every day (tagines, pastillas, couscous), made exclusively with fresh products bought that very morning at the market.

Q: Is breakfast included and what does it include?

A: A traditional breakfast is included in your stay. It is served every morning on the patio by the pool or on the terrace. It consists of freshly squeezed orange juice, hot drinks, homemade Moroccan specialties (Baghrir pancakes, Harcha, Meloui), bread, butter, jams, fruit, and eggs cooked to order.

3. Swimming Pool, Spa & Hammam

Q: Does the Riad have a swimming pool and is it accessible all year round?

A: Yes. Our central patio houses a real swimming pool, perfectly maintained and integrated into the traditional decor of the Riad. It is accessible to all our guests to refresh themselves after a day of sightseeing in the medina.

Q: Do you offer traditional treatments (Hammam and Massages) on site?

A: Yes. Riad Fès Baraka has its own dedicated spa area. You can book a traditional Moroccan hammam ritual (with black soap scrub provided by Samira) as well as relaxing massages offered on site.

Q: Are the rooms air-conditioned and heated?

A: Yes. All our rooms and suites are equipped with an individual reversible air conditioning system (hot/cold), guaranteeing an ideal temperature in summer as well as during cool winter nights.

Q: Is the Riad suitable for a romantic stay for couples?

A : Yes, absolutely. With only 6 rooms and suites arranged around a tranquil patio, our Riad offers an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a romantic getaway. Q: Are all the bathrooms integrated into the bedrooms?

A: Yes, absolutely. All six of our accommodations have a completely private bathroom reserved for the exclusive use of their occupants. Depending on the room layout, the bathroom is either directly adjoining the room or located just across the hall on the landing, solely for your use.

Q: Can you arrange our transfers and guided tours of Fez?

A: Absolutely. For your comfort, the transfer upon your arrival (from Fes airport or train station to the Riad) is complimentary. Samir, the Riad manager, can arrange all your transportation upon request and can book an official, licensed French-speaking guide for you to explore the medina with complete peace of mind.

A: Absolutely. From your arrival and throughout your stay, Samir and Touria will be there to help you organize your activities. Located in the Batha district, Riad Fès Baraka allows you to explore the medina on foot.

Q: Can we book a guide to visit the medina of Fez?

A: Yes. To ensure a stress-free visit to the medina, Samir and Touria will book an official guide, carefully selected by us, for you for half a day or more. The guide will speak your language. We prioritize passionate official guides who will help you discover the history and alleyways of Fes el-Bali.

Q: Do you organize day trips outside of Fez?

A: Yes. We organize your day trips: the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes, the Middle Atlas Mountains (Ifrane, Azrou and its cedar forest), or the blue city of Chefchaouen. Our official transport partner will pick you up directly from the Riad in an air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver.
